Sacramento, CA – Today, the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) announced the Regions Rise Together initiative. The initiative will bring together diverse leaders in every region over the course of the next year so that an inclusive and comprehensive plan is developed that will lift every part of California.

Lenny Mendonca, the Governor’s Chief Economic and Business Advisor and Director of GO-Biz and Kate Gordon, Senior Advisor to the Governor on Climate and Director of the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) will lead the initiative with support from the Senior Advisor on Economic Development and Transportation at OPR, Egon Terplan, and Senior Advisor on Strategy and External Affairs of GO-Biz, Aneesh Raman.
The Regions Rise Together initiative is launched in partnership with California Forward, an organization with a long history of leading conversations on sustainable regional economic development.
